I bought this business from my father Ernest Cumbee better known as Brantley in Feb of 2016 he owned the business for well over 20 years before I took it over. We build wooden screen doors from raw material and take pride in the quality of workmanship done on each of our doors. I personally look over each door before it is delivered to try to make sure there are no issues with the door. We are a wholesale business so we do not sell retail but you can find our doors at most local lumber stores in SC and some in NC. You can find on our website a list of places that sell our doors and they can place an order for special sizes for you as well.
Our doors are designed to reduce maintenance, up keep and warping . All lumber is hand picked from premium No. 1/.40 Kiln Dried Pressure Treated Lumber as a standard, giving many years of durability. The lumber is planed & sanded to insure a smooth finish. All doors are constructed using Mortise & Tenon wood dowels fastened with a high grade glue, and aluminum fasteners and screws . Several varieties of screen material are used for each door style, as well as any custom choice made by buyer. Including by request, using Hardware Cloth screening for protection from pets , children and accidental kick-out. There are 12 different standard styles of screen doors that we offer, yet we can work with the supplier and or contractor on designing a custom style to your liking. Standard door sizes are 2'/8" or 3'/0" wide x 6'-8" tall. But, we can make the door too your custom size as well.
